The Oil Spill Containment Boom is super lightweight and very compact containment boom suited for protected and calm waters.
Non-absorbent for containment of spills and debris during cleanup. 6" freeboard above surface keeps oils and debris inside boom until cleanup is complete. 10" draft prevents the escape of oil and debris from underneath Yellow color makes boom easy to locate in any weather. Steel chain running through the length of the boom is galvanized steel. Adds weight and rigidity to the boom. UV resistant heavy duty closed-cell polyethylene 22-ounce material with reinforced, welded seams. Custom Boom lengths available to suit your needs. Durable hardware secures Boom in place until ready for retrieval. Easily cleaned with detergents or by power washing. Use in marinas, inland waterways and in harbors. Capable for one-man deployment due to compact size Deploy from trucks, boats, shore, docks or barges. Aluminum universal slide connectors that are marine-grade. Connectors do not allow hydrocarbons or debris to get through. Shipping point is IL warehouse.
